Day 5+6: Back home
Our time in Santa Cruz/Coban was over and now it was time to return home. It was all sort of bittersweet— we said our goodbyes to the people we met on the mountainside and packed our bags for the trip back to Guatemala City. We had a 6-hour drive back to Guatemala City. The drive to our first stop, McDonald's, was very quiet haha. After brunch, we finally reached Guatemala City. Our flight wasn't for another 6 hours, so we took a break and walked around a part of the city. Af

They seemed to be practicing for an event happening later this week. We walked to the courtyard of the school a

Day 1: Travel
Hello! Thank you for your prayers. We arrived safely in Guatemala City on Sunday night. Many of us were very exhausted, but it did not stop us from enjoying Burger King as our first meal in Guatemala. For our very first night, we stayed in some rooms at the missionary’s church nearby. Every morning, we have a planned time for devo, so that’s exactly what we did. We all woke up around 6AM, had morning devo together, then got back on the van to travel to our next destination. T
